Dr. Ali Gomaa, former Grand Mufti of Egypt and member of Al-Azhar’s Council of Senior Scholars, sparked deep reflection with his moving statement about a timeless question: How can one own the whole world?

He explained that true ownership of life and peace is not achieved through wealth or status, but through six divine words mentioned by Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as “a treasure from the treasures of the Throne”:

"La hawla wa la quwwata illa billah" (There is no power nor strength except through Allah).

Gomaa emphasized that this phrase is not a mere repetition of words—it’s a spiritual method of transformation. It reflects full trust, surrender, and contentment with Allah’s will, empowering a believer to live with calm, strength, and clarity.

Citing the Hadith, he noted that this remembrance holds the essence of divine connection, making one’s heart steadfast and free from fear and anxiety.

Egypt’s Dar al-Ifta also urged Muslims to recite the phrase frequently, especially in the morning, evening, and before sleep, as it brings blessings, protection, and serenity.

The message concludes with a powerful reminder: these few words can open the gates of heaven and close the doors of sorrow — for in them lies the strength of the soul and the peace of the heart.
