Is Depicting Judgment Day with AI Permissible? Dar Al-Ifta Explains
Dar Al-Ifta clarifies the ruling on using artificial intelligence to visualize Judgment Day and warns of its dangers.
Dar Al-Ifta addressed a question regarding the ruling on depicting Judgment Day using artificial intelligence, especially after the انتشار of videos titled “as if you see the Day of Judgment.”
They clearly stated that visualizing Judgment Day through AI-generated scenes is prohibited in Islam due to the serious implications involved.
Such depictions may distort religious truths and spread misinformation, as they rely on imaginative interpretations rather than authentic religious texts.
Judgment Day is part of the unseen (ghayb), which human minds cannot fully comprehend or accurately portray, making any visual representation misleading.
These simulations impose specific mental images on viewers, potentially altering their understanding of religious teachings, as visual memory strongly influences perception.
Dar Al-Ifta warned that this could lead to false beliefs about unseen matters and may result in speaking about religion without knowledge.
They emphasized that attempting to depict such events is fundamentally flawed, as unseen realities have no equivalent in the physical world to compare or recreate.
Ultimately, such portrayals are considered unacceptable, as they present imagined realities as truth, which contradicts Islamic teachings.
Many seek powerful supplications for quick marriage, asking Allah for a righteous spouse, protection, and ease, along with Quranic prayers that open doors of relief.
In times of hardship and distress, Muslims turn to powerful supplications seeking relief, peace, and divine comfort that removes sorrow and anxiety.
Many expectant mothers turn to supplications for fetal protection, seeking safety, perfect creation, and peace of mind alongside medical care.
In times of fear and concern for children, many parents turn to the dua of entrusting their children to Allah, seeking divine protection and endless care.
