دعاء الجمعة الثالثة من ربيع الآخر – أدعية مستجابة وفضل يوم الجمعة

As the third Friday of Rabi’ al-Thani dawns, hearts awaken to the call of faith, and believers renew their intentions to worship and give thanks. Friday is a sacred day that Allah has filled with blessings and honor — a day for reflection, remembrance, and supplication. It is a time to cleanse the soul, renew repentance, and seek divine mercy.

Dr. Magdy Ashour, former scientific advisor to the Grand Mufti of Egypt, explained that exchanging greetings such as “Blessed Friday” or “Good Friday” is perfectly acceptable in Islam, as it carries goodwill and spreads kindness among people. Friday is a day of virtue and light, and as the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: “The best day the sun rises upon is Friday; on it Adam was created, on it he entered Paradise, on it he was expelled from it, and the Hour will not be established except on a Friday.”

On this blessed day, Muslims are encouraged to increase their remembrance of Allah and to make sincere supplications, certain of His response. Among the most beautiful prayers to recite are:

O Allah, make this Friday a light for our lives and a forgiveness for our sins.
O Allah, accept us among the righteous and grant us Your mercy.
O Allah, forgive all our sins, those we know and those we do not.
O Allah, bless us with abundant sustenance and peace of mind.
O Allah, make this Friday a beginning of goodness and relief for all Muslims.
O Allah, accept our deeds and guide us to what You love and are pleased with.

Short, simple prayers can also be recited throughout the day, such as:
O Allah, forgive me and my parents.
O Allah, grant me from Your vast bounty.
O Allah, make me among Your righteous servants.
O Allah, ease my worries and grant me relief.

Scholars emphasize that the entire Friday is a time of blessing and that the final hour before sunset is a moment of special acceptance — a divine opportunity when prayers are most likely to be answered. Believers are encouraged to spend this time in calm reflection, raising their hands in humility and hope.

Among the most touching prayers for this blessed hour:
O Allah, on this blessed Friday, fulfill our wishes and be pleased with us.
O Allah, grant us relief from every hardship and a way out of every distress.
O Allah, guide us to goodness and protect us from all harm.
O Allah, make this day one of blessing, happiness, and peace.

Friday is not merely a weekly ritual; it is a divine gift — a reminder of faith, a renewal of the spirit, and a chance to reconnect with Allah in gratitude and serenity.
