"O Allah, make the deceased firm with Your steadfast word, elevate his rank, forgive his sins, weigh his deeds favorably, and admit him to Paradise without account, O Most Merciful."

• Prayer for parents:

"O Allah, have mercy on my father and mother, make their graves gardens from the gardens of Paradise, honor them with Your pleasure and light, increase their good deeds, and forgive their sins."

• Comprehensive prayer for the living and the deceased:

"O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, our witnesses and those absent, our young and our elders... and whoever You take from us, take them in faith, and do not deprive us of their reward."
