Many Muslims search for a Surah Al-Baqarah dua to recite after completing the chapter, hoping to benefit from the blessings of the Quran and draw closer to Allah through supplication.

There is no specific dua authentically established from Prophet Muhammad ﷺ that must be recited after completing Surah Al-Baqarah. A Muslim may therefore ask Allah for whatever is good in this life and the Hereafter.

Surah Al-Baqarah Dua

A person may make a general supplication after reading the surah, such as:

“O Allah, grant me its blessings and virtue. O Allah, make it a protection and shield for me. O Allah, purify me through it from illness and harm. O Allah, open for me through it the doors of goodness, provision, and happiness in this world and the Hereafter.”

This may be said as a personal supplication, without believing that it is a specific Sunnah attributed to the Prophet ﷺ.
