🌷 New Awareness Session for Working Women
The Ministry of Youth and Sports has launched the second event in its awareness campaign targeting working women in ministries and public bodies.
The latest event was held at the Ministry of Social Solidarity under the title “Working Women Between Workplace Pressure and Family Responsibilities.”
According to the ministry and reports covering the event, the session focused on helping working women organize their time, balance professional and family responsibilities, and manage workplace pressure and the demands of daily life.
🧠 Dealing With Daily Pressure
The session was presented by Dr. Heba El-Sabahi, a mental health consultant and Assistant Secretary-General for Arab-African Women, who addressed several issues related to psychological, professional and family balance.
The discussion covered role conflict, ways to avoid what was described during the session as the “superwoman trap,” and methods for preventing burnout caused by accumulated responsibilities and pressure.
The session also examined practical skills including time management, setting priorities and family delegation, as well as the importance of establishing clear boundaries between workplace pressure and home life and dealing with feelings of guilt.
⏱️ The Concept of “Quality Presence”
The event also introduced the concept of “quality presence,” emphasizing impact, emotional engagement and the quality of interaction rather than measuring a woman’s contribution only by the number of hours she spends on a particular responsibility.
The session additionally presented a “Triangle of Recovery and Healing” as a practical approach to coping with pressure through three main areas: self-awareness, delegation and relationship management, and self-care and emotional release.
📢 Campaign to Continue in Other Institutions
The campaign is part of programs organized by the Ministry of Youth and Sports addressing issues and needs associated with balancing professional and family responsibilities for working women.
According to the ministry, additional activities are planned at a number of ministries and public bodies in the coming period, including the General Authority for Investment, expanding the reach of the campaign’s awareness messages and programs.
⭐ Practical Tools for Everyday Challenges
The topics addressed through the campaign focus on practical tools that working women can use in managing daily responsibilities, particularly time management, priority setting, coping with pressure and maintaining clear boundaries between work and family life.
The session covered psychological, professional and family aspects rather than focusing on a single area, offering a broader discussion of the challenges faced by working women in their daily lives.
