مجلس الزمالك يقرر التعاقدات والتجديدات

A source inside Zamalek SC has revealed how matters are currently managed within the football department, clarifying who has the final say regarding contract renewals or new player signings.

Since the planning committee was established at the club, Zamalek has adopted a meticulous approach to handling transfers and player renewals. The process begins with the planning committee identifying the team's needs and initiating negotiations with players who fit the club's requirements. Once the right candidates are selected, discussions are opened with the players to present financial terms aligned with the club’s policy, ensuring all aspects of the deal or renewal are agreed upon before it is presented to the board of directors.

After the initial negotiations by the planning committee are completed, the matter is passed on to the board for their opinion and final approval. If the board agrees, the legal and administrative procedures to finalize the deal are initiated. If there are objections or disagreements regarding the proposed financial figures, the matter is referred back to the planning committee to renegotiate based on the club’s financial capabilities.

This system has already been applied in several cases, most notably in the contract renewal of Mahmoud Hamdy "El-Wensh", as well as the ongoing negotiations with Abdallah El-Said and other potential new signings. In all such cases, the planning committee acts as the lead negotiator, but the final decision always lies with the club’s board of directors.

It is worth noting that this structure ensures clarity in roles within the club, with the planning committee responsible for initiating negotiations and framing the initial deals, while the board holds the decisive authority based on the club’s best interests and future objectives. This clear distribution of responsibilities helps speed up the contracting and renewal processes and maintains the club’s financial balance.

This system reflects transparency and organization within the club, allowing the management to make sound decisions that align with the team's ambitions on both domestic and international levels.
