Club Career
Aalborg Local Club B52/Nordjyllands
Wessam Abou Ali began his football career at the age of four at the local Aalborg club and moved after six years to Hobro, the largest club in the area.
- Debut in the Danish Superliga: March 15, 2018, against Horsens.
- First Goal: Scored his first goal with the first team on April 22, 2018, against Midtjylland.
Vendsyssel
On August 23, 2019, Abou Ali was loaned to Vendsyssel until the end of 2019. On January 5, 2020, it was confirmed that he would continue at Vendsyssel for the rest of the season.
Silkeborg
On September 9, 2020, Abou Ali joined newly relegated Silkeborg on a four-and-a-half-year contract until 2024.
Return to Vendsyssel
Seeking more playing time, Abou Ali returned to Vendsyssel on September 1, 2021, signing a contract until June 2025. During his first appearance against Lyngby, Abou Ali suddenly collapsed on the field and was taken to the hospital.
On February 15, 2022, he suffered a punctured lung in a friendly match against Dynamo Moscow, which again required hospitalization.
IK Sirius
On July 13, 2023, Abou Ali's move to Swedish club IK Sirius was confirmed in a deal until the end of 2027.
Al Ahly SC
On January 11, 2024, Abou Ali joined Egyptian club Al Ahly on a four-and-a-half-year contract for a fee of 2 million euros. He made his debut on February 23 in a 1-0 away win against Medeama in the CAF Champions League, and four days later, he scored his first goals with a brace in a 5-1 victory over El Mahalla.
