Al-Azhar International Fatwa Center published a daily program for worship in Ramadan, showing how a fasting person can live an ideal day, making the most of every moment with righteous deeds and multiplied blessings:

Steps for a Perfect Ramadan Day

  1. Start your day with Fajr prayer for a spiritually strong beginning.

  2. Read a portion of the Qur’an after Fajr to immerse in its light.

  3. Sit in your prayer area after Fajr and remember Allah until sunrise to earn the reward of Hajj and Umrah.

  4. Perform Duha prayer to thank Allah for His blessings.

  5. Pray in the mosque regularly to gain the reward of congregational prayer.

  6. Perform 12 confirmed Sunnah rak’ahs along with the five daily prayers to secure a house in Paradise.

  7. Increase the remembrance of Allah throughout the day for great reward.

  8. Send blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ frequently to have sins forgiven and rank elevated.

  9. Make dua for yourself, your family, and all Muslims—your prayers will be answered by Allah.

  10. Maintain family ties even by phone to bless your life and expand your sustenance.

  11. Give charity, even a little to multiply your reward and bless your wealth.

  12. Visit the sick, even if not related to gain the prayers of angels and a garden in Paradise.

  13. Follow a funeral to earn a qirat in Paradise.

  14. Feed a fasting person to earn the same reward as them.

  15. Perform night prayers: Tarawih and Tahajjud to strengthen your connection with Allah and benefit from the night’s blessings.

Following these steps makes a fasted day full of worship, good deeds, and blessings, allowing the believer to earn Allah’s pleasure and multiply rewards.
