دعاء الاستفتاح في الصلاة لتعزيز الخشوع

The prayer includes opening supplications (Al-Istiftah) after the Takbir of Ihram, followed by Al-Fatihah, Tashahhud, and the Ibrahimic prayer, along with personal supplications for forgiveness and humility. These prayers help strengthen guidance, steadfastness, and seek forgiveness for sins.

Examples of Istiftah Supplications:

  1. Comprehensive formula:
"I have turned my face to the One who created the heavens and the earth, devoutly..."

  2. Alternative correct formula:
"O Allah, distance me from my sins as You have distanced the East from the West..."

  3. Night prayer formula:
"O Allah, Lord of Jibreel, Mika’il, and Israfil, Creator of the heavens and the earth..."

Al-Istiftah is a recommended Sunnah of the Prophet ﷺ, and repeating any correct formula before Al-Fatihah enhances humility and spiritual connection during Salah.
