Egyptian Quran Reciters Syndicate has issued an official warning to the public regarding an individual whose Quran recitation reportedly does not comply with proper Tajweed rules.

The syndicate stated that clear violations in recitation standards were observed, emphasizing the importance of maintaining accurate and respectful Quranic performance.

It also confirmed that the matter has been referred to the relevant authorities for necessary action, as part of its role in regulating reciters and protecting the integrity of Quranic recitation.

In addition, the syndicate continues to coordinate with the Egyptian Ministry of Awqaf to further regulate and develop its legal framework to better monitor reciters and prevent misconduct.

Previously, the syndicate formed a new listening and monitoring committee composed of senior members to oversee recitation quality across mosques and institutes.

The committee aims to evaluate reciters, improve training standards, and ensure compliance with both technical and religious guidelines to preserve the authenticity of Quranic recitation.
