Hossam Hassan started playing football at Shiblenga Youth Center in his hometown of Banha. Despite not being a regular starter, he scored his first goal in the Egyptian Premier League against Al-Ittihad Alexandria on April 30, 2013. El-Entag El-Harby (2014–2016):
