• Early diagnosis and treatment:

  • The earlier treatment begins, the higher the chance of reducing symptoms and preventing them from worsening.

• Adherence to treatment:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), especially Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) technique, and medications such as Selective Serotonin Reuptake Inhibitors (SSRIs) can reduce the duration and severity of symptoms.

• Environmental and supportive factors:

  • Family and social support helps in reducing stress and improving outcomes.

• Intermittent: Symptoms come and go periodically.
• Chronic: Symptoms persist but vary in intensity.

• Avoidant Personality Disorder:

• Dependent Personality Disorder:

  • Over-reliance on others for decision-making.
  • Difficulty taking responsibility.
